I recently purchased a new couch for our lounge - it is a turquoise velvet Chesterfield and I love it! We had a dark brown leather couch for ages, which was handy with very young kids in the house, but now that my children are old enough to mind where their dirty feet are going...I thought I would splash out on something I love! I have also had lots of fun filling my new couch with beautiful cushions. Now the only bit I have to worry about is stopping Bella the pugalier from jumping up on it! I got my water colour paints out and had a lovely time doodling some pretty backgrounds, creating patterns and working in all sorts of colours. I love the Windsor and Newton Cotman water colour palette that I picked up on my trip to the UK. I use a variety of brushes and am happiest with a large long haired brush and working quite loosely. Lots of fun!

I am addicted to thrift shops, junk shops, flea markets, car boot markets and garage sales...I am continuously looking for little treasures that take my fancy. Sweet William is very fortunate to be published by LaLaLand in Australia. What that means is that they they do all the hard work, they produce and distribute a range of my work along with other Australian illustrators. I will often walk into a gorgeous little gift shop and unexpectedly see my cards or posters produced by Lalaland on the shelves and it makes me smile every time! They will also do exciting things like produce extra large posters for window displays and themes through out the year.
